Terms and Conditions

By creating an account on GameMatch, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these rules may result in corrective actions, including warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent deletion of your account.

I. User Profiles, Biographies and Content

1. Prohibitions in Biography and Profile Text

Not allowed:

Social Networks and External Links: Include any link, username, or explicit reference to social networks (Instagram, Twitter, Twitch, Discord, etc.), personal websites, or any external platform in the biography or free text fields. The profile must reflect the player and their interests within the platform.

Hateful or Discriminatory Content: Publish text that promotes hatred, discrimination, racism, misogyny, homophobia, or any form of attack based on gender, origin, religion or disability.

Threats or Harassment: Include any type of direct or indirect threat, harassment or intimidating language directed at an individual or group.

Sensitive Personal Information: Share private addresses, phone numbers, emails or any other personally identifiable information (own or third party).

Explicit Sexual Content: Text with explicit sexual connotations, descriptions of sexual acts or lascivious language.

Prohibited Communication Behaviors

Not allowed:

Blurry or Low Quality Images: Profile photos must be clear and sharp. Pixelated, out of focus images or those where the main subject cannot be clearly identified are prohibited.

Nudity and Explicit Content: Images showing nudity, pornographic content or sexually explicit material.

Extreme Graphic or Violent Content: Photos containing gore, explicit violence or disturbing images.

Promotional Images: Use profile photo to display logos of companies, products or services unrelated to GameMatch for commercial purposes.

Obvious Copyright: Use images protected by copyright without authorization or that clearly infringe intellectual property.

II. Communication Moderation

Prohibited Communication Behaviors

Not allowed:

Persistent Harassment and Cyberbullying: Continue contact or send unwanted messages to a user who has explicitly requested cessation of communication or has blocked the offender.

Toxic and Abusive Language: Use serious insults, slander, defamation or excessively vulgar and derogatory language.

Spam and "Flooding": Send repetitive, irrelevant messages or excessive volumes of text with the intention of annoying or saturating a user's chat.

Scams and Fraud: Attempt to request money, banking information or any type of sensitive information under deceptive or fraudulent pretexts.

Incitement to Violence or Self-Harm: Publish messages that promote physical or mental violence against oneself or others.

III. General Conduct and System Abuse

General Prohibitions

Not allowed:

Identity Impersonation: Pretend to be another user, member of GameMatch Staff, or a known public figure with intent to deceive or harm.

Report System Abuse: Send false or malicious reports en masse against other users with the sole purpose of causing them problems.

Promotion of Illegal Activities: Share or request material that violates local or international laws (drug sales, software/game piracy, etc.).

Creating Multiple Accounts (Alts) for Ban Evasion: Create a new account after a previous account has been permanently suspended or deleted for violating these policies.

IV. Staff Actions

Moderation staff have the authority to apply the following actions based on the severity and recurrence of the violation:

Warning

Formal notification for minor violation or first offense.

Temporary Suspension

Account access prohibition for a defined period (e.g., 24 hours to 7 days).

Permanent Suspension (Ban)

Permanent deletion of the account in cases of serious or persistent violations.

Terms Acceptance

By registering and using GameMatch, you accept these terms and conditions in full. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and we will notify you of significant changes.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use GameMatch.
